LET’S SUPPORT YOUNG PEOPLE EXPLORING A CALL TO MINISTRY
The Asbury Seminary Foundation is partnering with Global Methodist churches to provide young people aged 15-25 with a unique opportunity to explore their calling in ministry. Fresh Words events will be hosted across the Alabama - Emerald Coast Conference of the Global Methodist Church.
Here’s How it Works:
Pastors and ministry leaders invite students in their congregation to prepare and share a short 5-minute sermon.
The event includes a supportive audience made up of peers, family members, and church leaders.
Before preaching, students receive simple coaching and encouragement on preparing and delivering their message.
Sermons from churches across the conference will be combined into a shared compilation video for everyone to celebrate and enjoy.
Student Participants Will:
Prepare and preach a 7 minute sermon in front of their friends, peers, and family.
Be encouraged, mentored and prayed for, growing in confidence and experience.

How We Need Help:
Mentors to lead and inspire students who sign up to preach, guiding them to share an effective message and explore vocational ministry.
Church partners including host churches and prayer warriors to help support our young people. Leaders interested in hosting an event can sign up here.
