TAKE THE NEXT STEP

The Asbury Seminary Foundation strengthens Global Methodist churches throughout the Alabama Emerald Coast by investing in faithful, well-prepared ministers. These scholarships help promising seminary students answer God’s call to serve local churches as ordained elders and deacons.

Through the generosity of the Foundation’s donors, students can prepare for ministry with less financial burden and a greater ability to focus on their theological education. For over 50 years, the Asbury Foundation has proudly supported those whom God has called to serve in vocational ministry.

The Asbury Seminary Foundation Scholarship is available for students who have applied to candidacy for ordination in the Global Methodist Church in the Alabama Emerald Coast Conference. To learn more about ordination, click here.

To apply, please send the following documents to tyler@asburyseminaryfoundation.com:

  1. A completed scholarship application

  2. A signed statement of faith

  3. A letter of recommendation from a sponsoring pastor (preferably an ordained clergy member of the Global Methodist Church)

  4. A written personal testimony of faith (submitted as a separate document)

After your materials have been received, our Board of Directors will contact you to schedule an interview.

APPROVED RECIPIENTS

Once approved, all seminary students need to fill out a request form to receive their scholarships. Please complete course registration before completing the request forms below:
